T-Rex

Hose Master Inc. revolutionizes the metal hose industry with T-Rex™ - the first torque-resistant stripwound metal hose with enhanced sealability

  • Enhanced temperature ratings (since there is no need for packing materials, maximum working temperature is rated according to the parent steel)
  • Available in 1 1/2" through 16" nominal inside diameters
  • Galvanized or stainless steel alloys in various strip thicknesses
  • Same great bend radius as Hose Master's standard interlocked construction
  • Precision welding procedures eliminate fitting attachment leaks
  • "Smooth transition" welding of the fitting maximizes flow and minimizes tortion of the media
  • Available swivel coupler facilitates installation and minimizes torquing



T-Rex™ is available in bulk lengths or fabricated assemblies and is ideally suited for dry bulk pneumatic conveying (e.g. plastics, grain, hot abrasive catalyst, etc.) and exhaust applications.

Note: Minimum bend radius is measured from the centerline of the hose. T-Rex is sold in a "relaxed" state.

T-Rex swivel Part D couple enhances performance of the hose assembly. It consists of a lightweight aluminum body with a stainless steel insert and is available either:

  • Factory welded directly to the hose: or
  • Factory or field welded using a weld ring (the additional weld ring allows the body and insert to be reused).
