Description

Design product to customer specifications, adhering to industry standards, and continually enhance designs using latest design software and materials to deliver a highly engineered and quality, to be cost competitive.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers (both internal and external) to understand technical requirements and resolve issues
• Prepare technical drawings
• Determine labor estimates
• Source new parts to vendors
• Run prototype parts through manufacturing
• Design components as needed

Qualifications

• Cad experience (preferably SolidWorks)
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Good math (Trigonometry minimum) and communication skills
• Technical degree preferred (BSME or Mechanical Engineer Technology)
• Ability to read precision measuring devices
• Understand industry standards
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 75lbs
• Walk up to a mile at a time
• Bend, squat, reach as needed
